17th Annual Tour de Troit: Michigan's Largest Bike Ride

The 17th Annual Tour de Troit, set for September 15th, is a bike ride that explores some of the city's historic areas, takes in many of its most breathtaking sights, and provides bicyclists a unique opportunity to legally “take over” the streets of Motown. Last year’s ride attracted over 7,000 riders!

This event can and will sell out -- a necessary precaution to ensure the safety of all riders, as well as a good time! Please note the following pricing schedule:

30 Mile "Main" Ride
Nov 29 to Jan 30 $40
Feb 1 to April 30 $45
May 1 to August 31 $50
Sept 1 to Sept 9 $60
Sept 10 to Sept 15 $70 (Note: Online registration closes on September 9th. There will be registration available at packet pickup, as well as onsite at Roosevelt Park on September 15.) Packet Pickup dates TBD.

62 Mile "Metric" Ride
Nov 29 to April 30 $50
May 1 until sold out at 500 riders $60

Registrants under the age of 21 will receive a $5 price reduction.

Tour de Troit registration includes pre-ride carbs and coffee; a t-shirt; rest stop snack and beverage; post-ride one food item and one beverage; and, of course, the ride itself! Additional food and beverage tickets are available for purchase for just $5 each during the registration process.

The mission of the Tour de Troit is to promote and encourage bicycling and bicycle safety through education, public events, collaboration with community and government organizations and support for non-motorized infrastructure. The Tour de Troit, the city’s largest cycling event, raises awareness of biking as a mode of transportation and publicizes the growing greenways network in the City of Detroit and all of Southeastern Michigan. Tour de Troit also produces and supports other events that promote a healthy lifestyle and city, including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Bike Ride, Rouge-A-thlon, PaczKi Run and Cycle Into Spring.
