Yale Bologna Festival 7/27

Date:  Sunday 7/27

Time:  10:00 am

Start Location:  Trailhead in Avoca MI   Take M19 north from Memphis (the start of the Peach of a Ride) for 12.6 miles to Brockway.  In Brockway turn right (SW) on Metcalf Rd. (M136) for 3.9 miles to Kilgore Rd. (in Avoca).  Turn right on Kilgore Rd aand then left into the trailhead parking lot.

Distance:  Approximately 40 miles

Pace:  13 to 15 mph (faster if there's a strong wind at our back)

Terrain:  Paved asphalt roads

Additional Info:  This is a good chance to see the northern part of the POAR century route and the great rest stop at the Capac Township Historical Society Museum.  We'll also visit Yale for some of the Bologna Festival activities.
