Strawberry Festival Rides Sat. 7/12/2008

Please note that the article in the newsletter and the web site calendar are incorrect regarding the Harsons Island Strawberry Festival Ride.  Below is the correct informataion.

Long Ride

Date:  Sat. July 12. 
Meeting place: New Baltimore McDonalds 

Time:  9 a.m.

Distance: 48 miles 

Pace: 14 to 16 mph

Ride Leader:  Rita Zupan (596-264-0712)

Short Ride

Meeting Place:  Alogonac McDonalds

Time:  10:30 a. m.

Distance:  Approx 25 miles

Pace: 12 to 14 mph

Ride Leader: Paul Wilhelm (586=247-6397)

Additional Info:  Dress code for the day is the new Club jersey.  We will be having lunch at St. Paul's Church on the Island, featuring their great strawberry shortcake.

Windmill Point Ride , Sun. 7/20/2008

Date:  Sun., July 20

Meeting Place:   Mc Donalds,  16  &  Crocker

Time:  8:00 a.m.

Distance: 37 miles

Pace;  14 to 16 mph

Ride Leader:  Buff Muylaert (586-463-3411)

Additional Info:  We'll ride to Windmill Point then to Brueggers for coffe and bagels.  We should be back to McDonalds by noon.

Clinton Twp Concerts

Donna Mesyn reports that the Clinton Township Wedmesday night concerts are great.  Air Margarittaville and Steve King and the Diddlys will be appearing the next two Wednesdays respectively.  The concerts start at 7:00 p.m and everyone is welcome.
